Our story
NEXUS Robotics Kids Academy is a new learning space for curious kids who want to build, code, and understand how technology works.
How it started
We are building NEXUS around a simple idea: children learn technology best by making with it. A robot that moves, a circuit that lights up, or a small website that works can turn an abstract concept into a real moment of discovery.
As a new business, we are starting with a focused set of programmes and a close relationship with families. That gives us room to listen, improve the details, and shape each learning experience around the children in front of us.
Our first tracks bring together robotics, coding, electronics, web design, and AI for ages 6–16. Every learner gets a clear starting point, practical projects, and encouragement to keep experimenting.
Mission
To make hands-on robotics and coding education accessible to every curious child — building technical skills, creative confidence, and the habit of learning by doing.
Vision
A growing community of young builders who do more than use technology — they understand it, question it, and create with it.
How we teach
Every concept is introduced through building. Theory follows practice, never the other way around.
Mistakes are data. We encourage iteration and celebrate the moments when things don't work the first time.
Before we ask how to build something, we ask whether it should be built — and who it serves.
Robotics is a team sport. Communication and collaboration are core skills — not extras.
The coaches
Our team brings together patient coaching, technical curiosity, and a belief that every child can make meaningful progress with the right project and support.

Robotics & Challenge Coach
Helps learners turn open-ended challenges into manageable steps, from the first sketch to a working robot.

Micro:bit & AI Instructor
Makes electronics, coding, and AI approachable through small experiments with visible, satisfying results.

Web Dev & 3D Printing Lead
Guides web projects and custom builds, helping students move from a digital idea to a physical prototype.
Where we're headed
Now
We are welcoming our first learners into a focused set of robotics, coding, electronics, web, and AI programmes.
Every term
We listen to students and families, then refine projects, pacing, and support so each cohort gets a better experience.
Next
New builds, experiments, and pathways will give learners more ways to explore technology at their own pace.
Long term
As more families join us, we will create more opportunities for learners to share projects, collaborate, and keep building together.
Come and see
See our facilities, meet the coaches, and watch a class in action. No commitment required — just curiosity.
